𝐀 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐑𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 𝐁𝐘 𝐇𝐎𝐍. 𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐒Request for statement by Hon. Kiruga Thuku(Chinga Ward MCA) urging the County Executive to put in place stringent measures on time management and set targets in order to ensure timely implementation of projects across the 30 wards. In a different statement, the Legislator requested for details on when the Department of Water, Environment and Climate Change will grant the Fishermen access to Chinga Dam and other authorized persons. Further, the safety measures that the Department will continue to put in place to ensure that there won’t be recurrence of drowning cases. In addition, Hon. Kiruga sought answers on a tabulation of the rates that determined the earnings from coffee for Kiaga and Kiaguthu areas and the reasons behind low coffee rates for farmers in these areas and the steps that the Department of Agriculture will take to ensure improvement of the same.Request for statement by Hon. Johnstone Kamau (Mugunda Ward MCA) regarding complaints raised over the management of Mutitu Water Project. Among the concerns raised are that some households within the jurisdiction of supply have been disconnected to the Water Supply Network and their meters confiscated by the management. Hon. Kamau has called upon the County Executive to take the necessary steps and ensure that all households in Mugunda Ward have access to clean piped water.In a different statement, Hon. Lucy Wanyitu (Gender Representative) posed questions on the development and management of Ruring’u Stadium. A response to this statement should provide details on the implementation status of the stadium, the safety measures put in place to safeguard the infrastructure from vandalism and harsh climatic conditions among others.In his request for statement, Hon.
