James Gichuhi has committed a petition by the Residents of Ihuriro Village in Iriani Ward, Othaya seeking the intervention of the Assembly on the following:-1. That the Department of Lands, Housing and Physical Planning do conduct an official inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the unfulfilled land exchange agreement between the defunct Nyeri County Council, Mr. Daniel Ndegwa Gichuhi and the Gathunguri Tea Buying Centre concerning land parcels Othaya/Ihuririo/1309 and Othaya/Ihuririo/52. That the Department immediately initiate and finalize the administrative processes, survey and title documentation required to transfer plot Othaya/Ihuririo/5 to Mr. Daniel Ndegwa as approved 3. That the Department takes all necessary legal steps to formally acquire, register and secure Othaya/Ihuririo/1309 as a public facility reserved for Gathunguri Tea Buying Centre.
