This follows a successful vetting conducted by the Committee on Appointments. Chaired by the Speaker Hon. James Gichuhi, the Committee evaluated the suitability of the Nominees based on; academic qualifications, employment record, abilities, experience, integrity, vision and leadership. ![]()

The Nominees were vetted pursuant to the provisions of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010, County Governments Act, 2012 and the Public Appointments (County Assemblies Approval Act, 2017) and the Standing Orders. ![]()

In a motion moved by the Majority Leader Hon. James Kanyugo, the Hon. Members approved the Nominees urging them to work diligently and always serve with dedication to improve the quality of public service in Nyeri County.

The Department of Health Services should also provide details on the status of the proposed upgrading of Chaka Health Centre and measures being undertaken to ensure the facility operates consistently, including the possible extension of operating hours during periods with high patient turnout.![]()
