1) The number of vacant bandas within the Market, clear details on the owners that had initially been allocated, why the bandas are not currently occupied and the period that they have remained vacant.![]()
2) The number of traders operating within the Market and the year each trader renewed their business permits. ![]()
3) The steps that the Department will take in order to ensure that disputes are resolved amicably and ensure a conductive and harmonious business environment.![]()
4) Whether there are Market Committees in place and particularly for Kamukunji Second Hand Clothes Market. Further, whether the Committeeโs Membership has been gazetted and if so, the Department should provide a copy of the gazette notice.![]()
5) Whether there is a regulatory framework providing for the general operations and management of the Market among other Markets.

Request for statement by Hon. Kiruga Thuku(Chinga Ward MCA) urging the County Executive to put in place stringent measures on time management and set targets in order to ensure timely implementation of projects across the 30 wards.![]()

In a different statement, the Legislator requested for details on when the Department of Water, Environment and Climate Change will grant the Fishermen access to Chinga Dam and other authorized persons. Further, the safety measures that the Department will continue to put in place to ensure that there wonโt be recurrence of drowning cases. ![]()
In addition, Hon. Kiruga sought answers on a tabulation of the rates that determined the earnings from coffee for Kiaga and Kiaguthu areas and the reasons behind low coffee rates for farmers in these areas and the steps that the Department of Agriculture will take to ensure improvement of the same.![]()

Request for statement by Hon. Johnstone Kamau (Mugunda Ward MCA) regarding complaints raised over the management of Mutitu Water Project. Among the concerns raised are that some households within the jurisdiction of supply have been disconnected to the Water Supply Network and their meters confiscated by the management. Hon. Kamau has called upon the County Executive to take the necessary steps and ensure that all households in Mugunda Ward have access to clean piped water.![]()

1) Establish a Programme that will ensure that the destitute population, the elderly and PWDs within the County ailing from lifestyle, chronic and other medical conditions requiring regular treatment are covered under National Health Insurance Fund(NHIF)and subsequently Social Health Insurance Fund(SHIF)![]()
2) Develop a regulatory framework providing for the control and management of the Programme, identification and selection of the beneficiaries among other provisions. ![]()
3) Set aside funds for payment of the NHIF annual contributions for the beneficiaries.![]()
4) Establish a County database and ensure regular updates of all the patients suffering from lifestyle and other chronic ailments in order to facilitate patientsโ follow-ups and identification of the persons to be considered for the Programme.
